Here's why you're so important:

At birth and throughout our early childhood, we are surrounded by love. But the minute we receive a life-limiting illness until the day we die, there is often insufficient care, and extended periods of pain and unneeded suffering.

Hospice care makes dying a gentle and respectable process. Its goal is to maximize the remaining quality of life, and provide bereavement support for families that grieve the loss of a loved one.

Last year, more than 17,000 Texans benefited from this special kind of care, delivered by hundreds of trained and licensed professionals working for TNPHA hospices throughout the state.
