Austin Camp Brave Heart in the News
Another TNPHA member hospice hosting the three day free-of-charge national bereavement camp called Camp Brave Heart is Hospice Austin.The three-day camp is held at John Knox Ranch near Wimberley and is a recreational summer camp for children and teenagers age 6 through 17 who are grieving the death of a loved one.
Through a variety of creative activities, campers are supported in their exploration of emotional, behavioral and physical adjustments to their loss.
Hospice Austin's highly dedicated bereavement support team also benefit from a support group Big Hearts for Brave Hearts, who raise money throughout the year to ensure that this valuable experience continues every year.
