1st Annual Butterfly Festival
FIRST ANNUAL BUTTERFLY FESTIVALOctober 6, 2012
The 1st Annual Butterfly Festival will be held Saturday, Oct. 6th, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Jasper Arboretum and Sandy Creek Nature Trail. The Festival is partnered with the Jasper Fall Fest and sponsored by the Jasper Master Gardeners and Lakes Area Hospice.
The Festival will include tours of the new greenhouse, the butterfly house and garden, butterfly releases and release memorials, vendors, food and music.
The new butterfly house will be dedicated to the memory of March H. Coffield, local attorney and husband of Jeanette Coffield, executive director of Lakes Area Hospice. March was known for his love of Jasper and his dedication to the development and progress of Jasper and the surrounding area.
