THE SECOND ANNUAL FUMC August Academy is actively looking for YOU! The August Academy will start with a worship service on Wednesday, August 1, followed by four weeks of some diverse and interesting classes to choose from!
We will begin with dinner at 5pm ($4 per person, please call for reservations), then classes from 5:45pm to 6:30pm, followed by Choir Practice for all those musically talented or marginally musical! Child care and Children's activities, too!
You can sign up for one class, or try four different ones out. Call the church office to reserve your place in any of these classes:
Safe & Healthy Living thru Life by Lakes Area Hospice
Sign Language for Beginners by Susan Humphrey A two week long course, August 8 and August15
HotTopics & Beliefs of the UMC by Rev. Fred Willis. This class will meet for two weeks, August 22 and August 29.
Cooking! by Susan Stover & Liz McClurg
Mexican Train, Dominoes, & Other Games by James, Jim, and Crew
Psalm 23: The Character of God by Jean Humphrey
Intro to Yoga by Sarah Willis
Providing Care to Hurting People by Odyssey Hospice
Being Mr. & Mrs. Fix-It by Bill Bales
