Fathers Day Memories Event for Grieving Youngsters - Lake Jackson

For youngsters between the ages of 4 and 16 who are grieving the death of a father, grandfather or father figure.
Special age-appropriate activities will be provided to help children and teens to remember and honor these special people on their special day, in a different way this year.
Led by a licensed counselor, the children will move from activities and sharing memories to a fun-filled pizza lunch. Each child will take home special memories as well as memory items they have created, to place on their loved one's grave or to keep. A balloon release is planned for the finale, to help grieving youngsters have closure from their loss.
There is no charge for this event, but pre-registration is required.
